Located at 2220 SW 34th Street
Piccadilly had somewhat of a medieval charm. It was cute in a really weird way, with pointless windows, mismatched ugly wall paper, and mirrored closets. Against better judgement, I actually liked the charm of this apartment. We looked at a 2 bedroom 1 & 1/3 bathroom apartment which would run us $615 for an outward facing apartment and $635 for a pool side apartment with a balcony. The downfall to this lovely and cheap apartment is there are no washer/dryer hookups. For a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with hookups we'd be paying $645/$665. Which is still totally in our budget.
The Pros:
Beautiful large balconies and porches
spacious rooms and living spaces
(possible washer/dryer hookups)
designated dining area
big closets
weird window from kitchen to foyer which can be used for keys and bills
Ice maker
Decent sized kitchen
Pet friendly with NO PET FEES! We are responsible for having the place cleaned after we leave though.
The 2/2 includes a study space in the main room
Good location (close to my favorite publix!)
The Cons:
Weird mismatched wall paper, but we have the option of changing it with approval
old appliances
no washer or dryer
The price is right, and if we can manage to get a washer and dryer into one of the apartments I think this apartment might actually be the one.
